LSU Alumni Association Names John Schiller as Chief of Staff
The LSU Alumni Association is proud to announce the appointment of John Schiller as Chief of Staff. In this role, Schiller will lead the executive team and oversee key strategic areas for both the LSU Alumni Association and The Cook Hotel and Conference Center at LSU.
Schiller will play a central role in advancing the LSU Alumni Association’s mission by driving strategic initiatives across key areas such as alumni engagement, corporate partnerships, fundraising, marketing, and operational oversight. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, he will help strengthen connections among alumni, enhance member experiences, and expand the Association’s impact both locally and nationally.

Schiller brings over 25 years of experience in leadership and marketing. He most recently served as marketing asset manager at Baton Rouge Coca-Cola and previously held the role of vice president of marketing at Mockler Beverage Company. Throughout his career, he has developed and sustained strong partnerships and sponsorships across the Greater Baton Rouge and New Orleans regions.
A Baton Rouge resident for more than two decades, Schiller and his wife Connie are proud parents of two LSU graduates, Tyler and Trent.
