PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
The Louisiana State University Alumni Association Board of Directors invites nominations and applications for the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. The President and CEO will work in partnership with the Board of Directors to advance the Association’s reputation as one of the most creative and unique alumni organizations in the nation.
The ideal new President and CEO will have a rich blend of successful personal achievement and leadership experience from a top tier university alumni and advancement program that also runs for profit entities. Alternatively, the President and CEO will be a successful producer and senior leader from a nonprofit organization or related for-profit company who exhibits similar knowledge and skills to those required for leading and managing a large philanthropic membership services organization with related businesses like the LSU Alumni Association.
Founded in 1905, and located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the LSU Alumni Association is an independent 501(c)(3) organization. It was LSU’s first philanthropic support partner and operates today without University or state support. In contrast to its humble beginnings, the LSU Alumni Association today is a large integrated membership and business operation. On campus, the LSU Alumni Association staff occupies and maintains an impressive eight-acre complex. Facilities include the Lod Cook Alumni Center, the Cook Hotel, Thelma S. Woods Building, Jack & Priscilla Andonie Museum, and the Warren & Lorraine Pol Building. Off campus, the LSU Alumni Association is affiliated with 130 alumni chapters throughout the world that sponsor local events year-round.
