The LSU Alumni Association wants our LSU Tiger Nation family to make the most of their time in Las Vegas, NV at the Vegas Kickoff Classic where the Tigers will take on the USC Trojans! We have prepared a list of our top recommendations.

As LSU heads to face off with USC at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the possibilities for an ultimate vacation are endless. Las Vegas is constantly evolving to exceed visitors’ expectations at every turn. From top-notch entertainment to delectable dining and fabulous new resorts, here is a list of our Traveling Tiger fan favorites to add to your fun-filled itinerary.

Ultimate Fan Parties

A familiar brand to LSU fans, Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux (located in Harrah’s Casino) will be hosting the Ultimate Tailgate Kick-Off Party on Friday, August 30 from 4pm – 6pm. Watch as Dos Hombres Mezcal co-founders and Hollywood duo, Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston, go head-to-head in an epic showdown to create the newest Walk-On's drink – the Mad Michelada.

Circa Resort & Casino is hosting a Downtown Pep Rally on Friday, August 30 from 5pm – 9pm. Enjoy the ultimate tiger fan celebration at Stadium Swim, a multi-level outdoor pool amphitheater. Enjoy complimentary drinks, a VIP section, and more! Be sure to RSVP for free general admission entry. If you’re still looking for rooms, Circa is also offering tiger fans visiting a discounted rate on hotel stays from August 29 – September 3.

Theo Von grew up in south Louisiana and attended LSU before launching his comedy career. He can now be heard weekly on his widely popular podcast THIS PAST WEEKEND, where he talks with guests, himself, and with his listeners. Fans from all over can expect a weekend full of laughter and fun in Las Vegas as Theo Von: Return of the Rat returns to Resorts World Theatre for back-to-back shows on Friday, August 30, and Saturday, August 31.

Louisiana favorite Lil Wayne will also be at Hartbeat Weekend at Zouk Nightclub, also located in Resorts World, on Saturday, August 31. Doors open at 10:30pm. Open bar ticket packages are available for $125.

Raising Cane's Caniacs will enjoy this unique two-story location in the Strip's Showcase Mall at 3791 S. Tiger Nation Tailgate at House of Blues may be sold out, but you can still join in the pre-game fun at Mandalay Bay before the game. Party like a local at the LSU Alumni Las Vegas Chapter’s Watch Party Bar Code Burgers. There will be a pregame party starting at 10am PST featuring Modelo beer specials, delicious burgers, appetizers, games, and more!
