Come Home Louisiana: Jady Regard

After spending time out of state as a ski instructor and later working with NFL and hockey teams, Jady returned to his Louisiana roots. Today, he proudly holds the title of "Chief Nut Officer" at Cane River Pecan Company in New Iberia, LA and serves on the LSU Alumni Association Board of Directors.

We're partnering with Louisiana Economic Development to highlight LSU Alumni who have moved back to Louisiana to do great things for our state!

Jady Regard graduated from LSU in 1992 and immediately moved out west to Colorado, where he worked as a ski instructor for two years. While he was at LSU, he worked under Dale Brown and the basketball team, which led to an increased interest in sports.

After a few years in Colorado, his initial plan was to move back to Texas to start graduate school, but an opportunity came up in 1995 that allowed him to move back down to Louisiana with the Ice Gators hockey team. His sports career took him to Biloxi, and later back to Louisiana to run the Ice Gators hockey team as general manager for four years.JADY

His experience then landed him a job with the Chicago Bears NFL team, where he moved and worked for two years before coming back to Louisiana after his father's passing to run the Cane River Pecan Company.

Regard is active in both his local community and LSU community, where he currently serves as a member of the LSU Alumni Association Board of Directors.
