CENTRAL OKLAHOMA CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIP
The Central Oklahoma Chapter of the LSU Alumni Association has a new scholarship fund. Our initial goal for an endowment of $10,000 will fund an annual scholarship of $500 to an undergraduate student enrolled at LSU from the Central Oklahoma Area (Oklahoma, Logan, Canadian, Grady, McClain, Cleveland, Pottawatomie and Lincoln counties).
The scholarship is a four-year award and is renewable if the student meets the following requirements:
-
-
- Maintains a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0
- Must remain enrolled at the university
- Is not placed on disciplinary probation
- Must remain a full-time student
-
The recipient will be selected by the LSU Office of Student Aid and Scholarship with priority given to residents of the stated counties. If no one qualifies, students from other areas of the State of Oklahoma will be considered.
When the students apply and are admitted to LSU, they are automatically considered for this scholarship – NO SEPARATE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION IS REQUIRED.
