East Texas is filled with a beautiful landscape and lots of Tiger Fans! Almost everywhere you GEAUX you can be sure to see purple and gold or run into a fellow Tiger Fan with strong Louisiana roots. There is no shortage of southern hospitality in the piney woods of East Texas.
The LSU Alumni East Texas chapter was started in 2014 by a group of individuals who wanted to gather together for watch parties. The group grew in 2019 with the first annual crawfish boil and one goal in mind, raising money for an endowment back to the University. Each year there are lots of students leaving East Texas and calling Baton Rouge. We want to support those students and families with a scholarship opportunity.
