What is the SAA?
The LSU Student Alumni Association (SAA) is a volunteer open-membership organization that enhances the student experience while supporting the quality and traditions of Louisiana State University. Originally envisioned as a means to “bridge the gap” between students and alumni, the SAA should continue to grow into a major campus organization. The LSU Alumni Association sponsors events throughout the year that provide the opportunity for professional and social development and facilitate networking with Alumni and the SAA.

How Much are SAA Dues?
Annual dues for the SAA are $20.00 per year. The membership is from August 1 - July 31.

Who’s Eligible for SAA Membership?
All current LSU students (undergraduate and graduate) are eligible for SAA membership.

Why Join the SAA?
The SAA provides a means for interaction among students, alumni, faculty, and the community. Below are some of the benefits of being a member of the SAA:

• Free admittance to all SAA sponsored events (professional, social, and networking events included)
• Networking opportunities with alumni SAA membership card that provides local merchant discounts (See list of sponsors)
• SAA T-Shirt, car decal, and other gifts
• An issue of the LSU Alumni Magazine
• Use of the Alumni Center for studying during final exams (December and May)
• Membership in a campus activity looks great on your resume!
