About Us

Over the last 100 years, the LSU Alumni Association has been the tradition keeper of the university. The LSUAA strives to keep our alumni connected by maintaining up-to-date records for more than 200,000 alumni and by extending the network through alumni chapters worldwide. We also support programs that touch all areas of university life. Contributions and gifts enable us to fund student scholarships, distinguished faculty awards, and provide salary supplements to reward teaching excellence.

Vision, enthusiasm, and energy have fueled the remarkable growth and success of the LSU Alumni Association.

Building the Future

Lod Cook Alumni Center
Built through the generous support of alumni and friends, this landmark facility, national headquarters of the LSU Alumni Association and home for alumni, heralds the spirit and future growth of LSU.

Lod and Carole Cook Conference Center and Hotel
A first-class hotel open to the public located adjacent to the Alumni Center was built to provide alumni, the LSU community, and the public at large with a unique LSU setting from which to enjoy a campus visit and or conduct meetings, conferences, and social events.

LSU War Memorial
Constructed and dedicated to honor LSU faculty, staff, students, and alumni who died or were listed missing in action in the U.S. armed forces during World War II and the seven subsequent military conflicts. The LSU War Memorial was dedicated on October 8th, 1998, and is located on the Parade Grounds. This highly visible land-mark serves as a fitting tribute to LSU's proud heritage and strong military foundation.

Jack and Priscilla Andonie Museum
The latest accomplishment of the Alumni Association, will provide a home for the legacy of LSU athletics. The Museum uniquely showcases this legacy for the entire LSU community and its visitors to enjoy.

These facilities serve to enrich the ongoing tradition of alumni pride and involvement, which has become a hallmark of excellence at Louisiana State University.
