On June 19, 2006 LSU announced the public phase of a fund raising campaign for Louisiana State University, the LSU AgCenter and Hebert Law Center. The multi-year campaign will bear a logo that we all know as the last two words of the Alma Mater..... Forever LSU.

Your gifts to the LSU Alumni Association's Alumni Fund and any other special project or program sponsored by the Association count as part of the Forever LSU campaign. A major emphasis of the campaign will focus on strengthening the endowments for scholarships and student aid. As you know, the best and brightest students attend LSU as a result of receiving LSU Alumni Association scholarship such as the Chancellor's Alumni Scholarship, Top 100 Scholarship or Alumni Leadership Scholarship. Unrestricted gifts to the LSUAA's Alumni Fund will continue to support the operation of the LSUAA as well as the increased annual cost of awarding these important and prestigious scholarships. In addition, leadership gifts of $20,000 to $240,000 will be sought to permanently underwrite each LSUAA scholarship. Your gifts directed to the LSU Alumni Association will assist in the successful completion of the Forever LSU campaign.

The other non profit organizations in the Forever LSU campaign are the Tiger Athletic Foundation and the LSU Foundation. Gifts given to these organizations will also be counted toward the successful completion of the overall campaign.
